The Fire service were called to our Brighton Nursery on Wednesday 14th July, when the children were treated to a special visit from local fire-fighters in ‘Blue Watch’.
The visit was organised after the children in Monkey's Room took a keen interest in the fire service, creating their own equipment and fire engine displays. The fire-fighters from the East Sussex Fire and Rescue service came to the nursery to talk to the children about what they do, and show them their fire fighting equipment, even giving some of the children a chance to use the fire hose!
Nursery Manager Sinéad Tennant said the visit, “It was fantastic; the children in Monkey’s were very excited and getting the chance to use the fire hose put a huge smile on their faces.”
