Crawley takes on a Rhyme Challange!

Friday 09 July 2010
Children at our Crawley Nursery sung a collection of new and traditional rhymes to parents and visitors alike at the end of June.

The event was organised by the management team at our 27 place nursery in Sutherland House, with the aim of developing the children’s love of rhyme and patterns of language, as well as putting on a great show for parents!

The sun was out and with seating and gazebo’s set up in the nursery garden, the children put on a great show, singing classic rhymes including ‘the wheels on the bus’ and ‘if you’re happy and you know it’ while their proud parents and carer’s watched on.

Nursery Manager Rebecca Bourne said of the event, “It was a fantastic afternoon, we are so proud of them all. We were hoping for a great turn out and it was. We have been practicing for weeks and the children were all really excited about performing for their Mummy’s and Daddy’s!”
